Crescengo is a series of walking adventures you play on your phone. Upon reaching highlighted locations, users play a short game to receive information on a local subject of interest such as a person, animal, plant or building. In addition, they receive a fragment of music.

Our mixer screen allows players to create their own musical crescendos out in public space.

‘The Jewels of York’ version of the game was designed to enrich the experience of visitors exploring the Trailblazer’s Tansy Beetley sculpture trail in York. The game focuses on engaging family audiences, particularly young people, by blending entertainment with education, encouraging them to visit as many trail sites as possible and collect facts about the history of York along the way.
