Exploring the Importance of story making: THEN

  • Acomb Explore Front Street York, England United Kingdom (map)

Story making is a skill, one that lives within all of us. Inspired by Tabitha Grove’s new one woman show, Them There Then That, Tabitha will be running informal, friendly two-hour sessions each prompted by one of the title words - Them, There, Then or That. Come to a session (or four!) and you will look at ways of choosing, molding, structuring, and communicating short stories, there’ll be a chance to share your story too, if you like (no pressure!).

Think of this as a supportive and creative space in which to start cultivating those long held stories.

Inspired by Kate Atkinson's Behind the Scenes at the Museum, Them There Then That is a brand new solo performance touring York Libraries this October as part of the Big City Read.

We want our Big City Read events to be as inclusive as possible. We are running a Pay What You Can system for some events to ensure that no one has to miss out. If are able to pay, please pay what you can up to a maximum of £5; in doing so you will enable us to continue to offer events that are accessible for everyone.
